Abstract
Leland H. Hartwell, Paul M. Nurse et R. Timothy Hunt just received the Nobel price for their discovery of the molecular components of the cell cycle and cell cycle checkpoints. This review is an update of the molecular networks driving the cell cycle and its regulation, and of the importance of this knowledge for understanding the mechanisms driving oncogenesis and therapeutic developments.Entities:
