Abstract
Patterns of gene expression in multicellular eukaryotes are regulated by numerous extremely sophisticated mechanisms. Over the past year, developments in our ability to monitor the organisation and dynamic properties of the components involved in gene expression have emphasised how both global nuclear architecture and chromosome structure can influence this fundamental process.Mesh:
