Abstract
Volumes of 1.8 mL and 3.6 mL of 2% lidocaine with 1:100,000 epinephrine were compared in inferior alveolar nerve blocks. The first molars, first premolars, and lateral incisors of 462 subjects were pulp tested for 55-60 minutes following administration of inferior alveolar nerve blocks. Results showed no significant difference between the two volumes of anesthetic in achieving successful pulpal anesthesia.Entities:
