Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of Aining on the genes of the human gastric cancer cells.
METHODS: Flow cytometry(FMC) was adopted to detect the gene expression of the gastric cancer cell in the Aining group, the cisplatin(DDP) group and the blank group.
RESULTS: Compared with the blank group, the expression of c-myc and bcl-2 genes was low, while that of the p53, bax genes was high(P < 0.01), and the ratio of bax/bcl-2 significantly increased in both the Aining group and the cisplatin(DDP) group.
CONCLUSIONS: The mechanism of inducing the human gastric cancer cells apoptosis by Aining has some relationship with the changes of the genes.
