Abstract
We report a case of blunt traumatic rupture of the right hemidiaphragm with liver herniation. A 57-year-old man admitted in an emergency after a traffic accident was suspected from chest radiography and computed tomography to have traumatic diaphragmatic rupture. Magnetic resonance imaging was helpful in the final diagnosis. Thoracoscopy was useful in planning surgery and surgically repairing the ruptured diaphragm.Entities:
