Abstract
Chromatin remodeling factors are being identified as genetic modifiers of developmental mutations in plants. These mutations result in lethality in metazoans, whereas in plants, they are viable and affect a wide range of developmental and physiological processes. Recent studies have begun to define the many functions of chromatin remodeling factors in plants and have revealed apparent differences between these factors in the two kingdoms.Mesh:
