Abstract
The protein products of the tumor suppressor genes tuberous sclerosis complex 1 and 2 form a protein complex, TSC1-TSC2, that inhibits growth. Several new studies suggest that TSC1-TSC2 does this by inhibiting TOR and S6 kinase, and that PI 3-kinase-Akt signaling relieves this inhibition.Entities:
