Abstract
We report a case of tongue necrosis secondary to temporal arteritis. Temporal arteritis can have devastating consequences, leading to blindness or death unless recognized and treated appropriately. Initial presentation may be to an oral surgeon, and we discuss the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and management of temporal arteritis.Entities:
