Abstract
A case of congenital absence of the left pulmonary artery, in which perfusion of the affected lung was accomplished via an arterial shunt from the circumflex coronary artery, is discussed. Data from myocardial perfusion scintigraphy showed that myocardial perfusion was unaffected by the existence of the shunt, largely because the flow through the shunt occurred mainly during systole.Mesh:
