Searching for evidence in perioperative nursing.

Perioperative nurses practicing evidence-based nursing need to identify and retrieve the quality original studies and trials that compromise clinical research. This article presents the principles of formulating the question, selecting the appropriate database, and preplanning the search strategy to retrieve citations that provide an evidenced-based answer to the question.
