Abstract
This study demonstrated the need for intervention in social network development by both clients of home health and residents of assisted living facilities. With the well-known connection between social networks and health, it is vital that nurses working with these populations be aware of the potential for isolation, screen for it, and, if necessary, develop interventions in the care planning process to address the lack of social networks.Mesh:
