Abstract
The rise in the incidence of fungal infections over the past two decades, particularly those caused by opportunistic pathogens in immune-compromised patients, has strengthened the need for new antifungal drugs. New triazole derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their in-vitro antifungal activities against three species of fungi. Most of the prepared compounds showed good antifungal activity. Three compounds exhibited pronounced activity against Cryptococcus neoformans with MIC less than 12.5 g/ml.Entities:
