Abstract
Splint therapy is a proven modality for alleviating the pain of many types of temporomandibular disorders and bruxism, though questions still remain regarding how splints work. In this article, a review of the literature is used to determine an effective splint design for the different degrees of temporomandibular problems. Sufficient credible literature exists to help provide an understanding of and a treatment protocol for the use of splints for temporomandibular disorders and bruxism problems.Entities:
