Abstract
Coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS) are an important cause of catheter-related bloodstream infections. This review will shed light on the pathogenesis related to biofilm formation, and will discuss antimicrobial susceptibility of CNS to older and newer antibiotics, as well as therapeutic options.Mesh:
