Japanese guidelines for the management of community-acquired pneumonia.

K Yanagihara1, S Kohno, T Matsusima.

Abstract

Japanese guidelines for the management of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) were published in March 2000. The guidelines differentiate between mild-to-moderate and severe pneumonia. A distinction is also made between bacterial and 'atypical' pneumonia.
