Abstract
A patient with renal cell carcinoma and hypercalcemia was found to have suppressed serum parathyroid hormone levels but striking elevations of immunoreactive prostaglandins in plasma and metastatic tissue. It was hypothesized that prostaglandins may have either played a role in the hypercalcemia or were part of a counterregulatory event.Entities:
