Abstract
Intradiscal electrothermal annuloplasty is a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of lumbar degenerative disc disease. This procedure has been used in the lumbar spine of patients who have failed conservative treatment regimens and who might otherwise be candidates for a spinal fusion procedure. As this is a new, recently developed procedure, there is only relatively short-term follow-up data available, and as such, the procedure has not been widely accepted.Entities:
