[The role of bile in the development of stress ulcers in the rat].

Choledocho-gastrostomy or bile duct ligation was performed in rats. There were as many stress ulcers after the former as in a control group. But after bile duct ligation the incidence of ulcers fell by half. it is concluded that under stress there isa billiary reflux which is ulcergenic.
