Abstract
Lipid peroxides are considered to be the initiation factor for atherosclerosis. Present study depicts that L-carnitine treatment (300 mg/kg body weight/day) for 7 and 14 days caused significant reduction in the tissue lipid peroxidations. It also shows marked improvement in the antioxidant status. By this way carnitine maintain the normal function of the cells.Entities:
