Abstract
Advances in surgical techniques, radiotherapy and chemotherapy have led to improved survival for children with solid tumours and leukaemia. However, the treatment has also resulted in increased side effects both in the short and long term. This article outlines the complications which may arise as a result of treatment under the headings of surgery; chemotherapy; radiotherapy; organ specific complications; infection and graft-v-host disease.Entities:
