Abstract
Multiple evolutionary variations occur in the cellular and genetic programming of nematode development. Many changes involve alterations of inductive interactions. Surprisingly, inductive processes vary during evolution, irrespective of changes in the final cell lineages and morphological structures. Genetic studies in some nematodes also shed light on the underlying mechanisms of evolutionary change.Mesh:
