Abstract
The management of congestive heart failure remains an issue of great interest. Encouraging data emerged over the last 2 years supporting the use of multisite pacing in patients with severe congestive heart failure and intraventricular conduction delay. We present a case of acute biventricular pacing in a 81-year old man with dilated cardiomyopathy and symptomatic congestive heart failure. This novel form of pacemaker treatment resulted in a rapid hemodynamic and clinical improvement.Entities:
