Abstract

The demonstration of biogenic amine-containing cell is classically performed by means of the formaldehyde-induced fluorescence technique after administration of the monoamine precursors, L-dopa or 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP. The injection of these two two compounds rapidly leads to the formation of large amounts.
