Abstract
The long-term prognosis of multiple gastric erosions (erosive gastritis) is analyzed in 58 cases observed over 10-17 years, showing the disease to recur through decades. Idiopathic erosions occur mainly in the antrum and can be visualized roentgenologically, whereas "stress" erosions are in the body of the stomach and may only be diagnosed endoscopically.Entities:
