Abstract
New imidazole derivatives were obtained after subjecting 5-benzo[1, 3]dioxol-5-yl-1-methyl-1H-imidazole-2-carbaldehyde to a Knoevenagel reaction. Some of these compounds exhibit significant in vitro leishmanicidal activity.Entities:
