Abstract
Many exciting advances in our understanding of T cell mediated immunity to bacterial infection have occurred in the past several years. T cell responses have been more fully characterized, due in part to the development of MHC class I tetramers. The importance of cytokines and various effector molecules in defense against infection has come to light. Finally, intracellular bacteria are being exploited to deliver antigens and DNA in an effort to induce immunity to pathogens.Entities:
