Abstract
A new prenyl chalcone, gemichalcone C (1), was isolated from the heartwood and root of Hypericum geminiflorum. Three new xanthones-6, 7-dihyroxy-1,3-dimethoxyxanthone (2), 4-hydroxy-1, 2-dimethoxyxanthone (3), and gemixanthone A (4)-and four known xanthones were isolated from the leaves and stems of the same plant.Entities:
