Abstract
In 309 patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy during long-term follow-up (mean 9.4 years), independent predictors of death from congestive heart failure (n = 15) were smaller electrocardiographic SV1 + RV5 and smaller echocardiographic fractional shortening at the initial evaluation. Our data may contribute to the construction of therapeutic strategies for the prevention of heart failure death in patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.Entities:
