Conflict and the dynamic organization.

S W Klunk1.

Abstract

Competition in today's world is fierce. Organizations are restructuring, re-engineering, acquiring, merging, tightening their belts, downsizing, transforming their cultures, and raising their expectations. Those organizations that refuse to change or change too slowly will not survive. Thus, both organizations and employees need to be well prepared to handle the stress and conflict that accompany the change process. One necessary step in becoming prepared is to identify the sources and types of conflict likely to occur.
