Abstract
In the United Kingdom, the General Medical Council has recommended that the medical curriculum should consist of a core of basic medical courses plus special study modules drawn from both medical and non-medical disciplines. One such study module at Glasgow University brought medical students together with arts students to study moral and political philosophy through a reading of Plato's Republic.Mesh:
