Abstract
Lyme disease-induced hyperacusis can be an intensely disabling, chronic condition that is accompanied by posttraumatic stress disorder-like psychobehavioral sequelae. The authors describe effective treatment of 2 patients with carbamazepine. Speculations regarding a mode of action are offered.Entities:
