Abstract
We describe a patient who developed granulocytic sarcomas of the mesentery and breast approximately 4 yrs following an allogenic bone marrow transplantation for acute myeloblastic leukemia. The diagnosis was made by a combination of fine-needle aspiration cytology and flow cytometry. The differential diagnoses of localized masses in posttransplant patients and how the combination of fine-needle aspiration cytology and flow cytometry may be used are discussed.Entities:
