Abstract
We have detected two novel single nucleotide polymorphisms in the IL-2 gene, at positions -330 and +166 relative to the transcription start site. The +166 change occurs within the leader peptide and does not affect amino acid sequence. The -330 polymorphism has two common alleles, making it an ideal marker for genetic association studies.Entities:
