Abstract
The cause can almost always be identified. Postnasal drip syndrome, asthma, or gastroesophageal reflux disease account for most cases. The differential diagnosis also includes ACE inhibitor therapy, pertussis, and, in up to 80% of patients, multiple causes. Response to treatment may offer diagnostic confirmation but can be slow in coming.Entities:
