Abstract
The authors report a case of disseminated cutaneous infection with Sporothrix schenckii in a previously asymptomatic HIV-infected 30 year-old man. Extensive cutaneous involvement was observed with suppurative collections and ulcerations. The agent was isolated in culture. Treatment with liposomal amphotericin B proved to be effective.Entities:
