Abstract
Omeprazole has been used with increasing frequency for the treatment of conditions such as reflux oesophagitis, peptic ulcer disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Several sequelae have been documented in the literature, but there has been limited indication of significant hepatotoxicity. We present a unique case of acute hepatitis secondary to the use of omeprazole that was resolved spontaneously with discontinuation of the drug.Entities:
