Abstract
Serial plasma oestriol levels were determined by radioimmunoassay in 24 patients with severe hypertension in pregnancy. No significant correlation could be found between plasma oestriol and percentage change in diastolic blood pressure. It seems unlikely that hypotensive therapy significantly improves fetoplacental function.Entities:
