Abstract
We describe an apparatus measuring the cornealreflex stimulated pneumatically. The flow of preassurised air in the range of 0.1-1.5 bar is controlled by an electromagnetic switch. The time the valve is open, is variable. The air flow is directed to the cornea of the eye. The blink reflex is recorded by means of the surface electromyogramm and displayed on the screen of a storage scope. The device allows a clean, reproducable and simple measurement of the cornealreflex.Mesh:
