Effect of alcohol and diet on 3H-leucine incorporation into brain and liver protein. I. Acute intoxication and vitamin deficiency in rats.

J Jarlstedt.

Abstract

In rats receiving a normal diet, ethanol administration reduced the incorporation of labeled amino acids into brain protein and increased incorporation into liver protein, but in rats fed vitamin-deficient diets alcohol did not significantly affect amino-acid incorporation.
