Abstract
A previously well, 48-year-old female presented with a short history of respiratory distress and fever for which no cause could be found. Open lung biopsy was not contributory. She died within nine days of presentation of hypoxia and multi-organ failure. Post mortem examination revealed the pattern of desquamative interstitial pneumonitis.Entities:
