Abstract
Schwannoma of the pancreas is a rare neoplasm. It generally affects older adults (average age, 60 yr). The sex incidence is equal. These tumors vary considerably in size and approximately two-thirds are partially cystic, which can cause clinical confusion with epithelial neoplasms. Histologically, they are typical schwannomas, with Antoni A and Antoni B areas, and they do not cause undue diagnostic problems once adequate tissue is examined histologically.Entities:
