Abstract
Peripheral embolization is a known complication occurring during aortoiliac recanalization. In particular, acute, fresh thrombotic occlusions, with a history shorter than 6 months, have a high risk for peripheral embolization. We describe a balloon occlusion sheath used to manage embolic material while preventing peripheral embolization.Entities:
