Abstract
Anatomical correction by arterial "switch" procedure was performed in a patient with transposition of the great arteries, intact ventricular septum, and left ventricular hypertension due to distal pulmonary stenosis. The patient died from left ventricular failure. The reasons for the failure of this procedure are discussed.Entities:
