Abstract
Histoplasmosis of the extremities is rare. A case of recurrent histoplasmosis with a 10-year latency between initial presentation and clinical recurrence is reported. Prolonged antibiotic treatment and debridement of bony involvement led to clinical resolution of this fungal infection after a follow-up period of 20 months.Entities:
