Abstract
Although melanoma accounts for fewer than 5 per cent of cutaneous malignancies, it is responsible for more than 75 per cent of skin cancer deaths. Metastasis generally proceeds from regional lymph nodes to visceral organs, with the lungs, liver, brain, and bowel being most commonly affected. Herein, we report a case of malignant melanoma metastatic to the ampulla of Vater treated with a pancreaticoduodenectomy.Entities:
