Abstract
Contemporary surgical management of Hirschsprung's disease (HD) has evolved toward resection and reconstruction earlier in life. The introduction and miniaturization of laparoscopic instrumentation currently permits the application of this approach to the treatment of HD in the neonate. The authors' experience with this technique demonstrates several potential advantages over the "classical" two-stage operation.Entities:
