Abstract
Survivors of extracorporeal membraneous oxygenation (ECMO) treatment are at risk for serious neurodevelopmental disorders or neurologic sequelae, but little has been reported about the prevalence of sensorineural hearing loss in these patients. Of 123 ECMO survivors born between 1987 and 1996, at least 30 survivors have confirmed sensorineural hearing loss. Progressive hearing loss has been confirmed in 10 subjects.Entities:
