Abstract
We describe the case of a 12-year-old girl who developed lymphocytic interstitial pneumonitis at 2 years of age which preceded polyarticular rheumatoid factor (RF) positive juvenile arthritis. Her disease had a chronic active course, but showed a good response to combination therapy. The pathogenesis of these two immune processes and of the lung involvement in juvenile arthritis is discussed.Entities:
