Abstract
Helminth parasites induce strong immune responses that are initiated by cytokines, in the first instance interleukin-4 and interleukin-13. Recent studies of knockout mice deficient in these mediators or their shared receptor have revealed discrete pathways required for expulsion of different gut parasites.Entities:
