Abstract
The cause of Ménétrier's disease is unknown, although various autoimmune, allergic, and infective causes have been postulated. This case report describes a 37-yr-old man with Ménétrier's disease associated with protein-losing enteropathy and Helicobacter pylori infection. Clinical, endoscopic, histological, and biochemical resolution occurred after treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection. The improvement observed in this case supports an etiological role for H. pylori infection in Ménétrier's disease.Entities:
